The curriculum focus is Character Development and careful thinking about life choices. It emphasizes the importance of role models like Arthur Ashe and other admirable Virginians. Lessons and activities have contemporary feel. Program updates were provided by a Richmond Public Schools (RPS) Guidance Counselor Alease Johnson and RPS Vice Principal Janet Hall-Lane.
